Plaza dels Angels 5-6, 08001 . directions

1 x 1 Collective will be presenting work at JOYA, a local and international exhibition open to both professionals working in contemporary jewellery and the general public.

1x1 collective was founded in Florence in 2010 by Margherita de Martino Norante and Eugenia Ingegno and links together jewellery artists with the aim of finding more chances to show their work yet remaining free and independent. 1x1 promotes the diffusion of contemporary jewellery in which the value of the object is not only in the richness of the materials but most of all in the stories it tells, the process through which the object is built and its uniqueness.

For JOYA 2011, 1x1 collective presents a collection of pieces from 8 international artists: Eunjae Baek (Korea), Elisa Deval (Italy), Eugenia Ingegno (Italy), Geraldine Nishi (Canada), Margherita de Martino Norante (Italy), Marzia Rossi (Italy), Yoko Shimizu (Japan) and Elinor de Spoelberch (Belgium).
